Jansen Edward Donoghue, DMD

General Dentist

Dr. Donoghue has been in the beautiful land of enchantment of New Mexico for over 15 years. He has proudly earned the reputation of being highly skilled and yet very gentle with his care. He prides himself of being a happy and dedicated professional committing excellence to all his patients.

His desire and passion for dentistry happened at an early age. After several bad dental experiences as a child, he was lucky enough to find a wonderful and kind dentist who changed his outlook of the dental profession. In turn, this inspired Dr. Donoghue to become a kind, compassionate dentist and provide patients with the same type of treatment that he experienced and enjoyed. His goal is to make patients as comfortable as possible, while providing optimal care as he would to his own family members.

Dr. Donoghue completed his undergraduate education at the Honors College of the University of Nevada Las Vegas. There he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Injury Management with minors in Biology and Chemistry. He then continued his education at the same university, completing a Doctorate of Dental Medicine. After graduation, he was accepted into a residency program at the University of New Mexico. This residency allowed him to further develop his clinical skills in multiple areas, including dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, orthodontics, sedation dentistry and treating TMD.

When he’s not practicing dentistry, Dr. Donoghue enjoys furthering his professional education by learning about the most up to date, comforting treatments that he can provide to his patients. He gives back to his community through educating children at schools about dental health and providing care to those in need. Dr. Donoghue also enjoys practicing jiu-Jitsu, swimming, hiking and Crossfit.
